Penny stocks are not for me

I know lots of guys at work that love to play with the penny stocks. To me that is the same thing as walking up to a machine and pulling a lever and seeing what happens. I know one guy that claims he does really well with the stocks but I am not sure that I believe him. Although he does seem to have lots of money and is generally living the life. He said he read a easy stock profit review which convinced him to buy a program or course from a stock trading guru. He insists that he gets updates and stock recommendations from this guy once a week and he usually makes money. Maybe I should try it , what have I got to lose? Oh yeah lots of money.
